These pictures were taken around 1975 at Knott's Berry Farm where The Raiders had made a second home for a few years. They are  pictures taken by Terri D Talia. One of thousands. Apparently, the last show went something like this. Mark said something to the effect that he had been with The Raiders for a long time. Paul interrupted and asked Mark if he wanted some potato chips. And every time Mark was going to tell everyone that this was his last performance with the band, Paul would offer him more potato chips. Paul did not want that story to be told on stage. And Mark never finished that story that he was going to tell. And according to Mark, he sold his half of The Raiders for a dollar. The business side of The Raiders that is. That is why Mark could never use the name Paul Revere & The Raiders when he came out of retirement. And that is what led to the law suit in 1997. Paul could never use Mark's name. And so on. These three pictures of Mark is the last performance with The Raiders. I am sure even he never thought that he and Paul would never tour again. Mark would come on first as a solo act and then The Raiders would perform. That is why Keith looks a little perplexed in this picture. Omar sang lead when The Raiders performed. That whole set up must have been a DRAG!!! As they use to say. My first time seeing The Raiders was just months after Mark left the band. My luck.

This is Jon Osborn. These are the comments of Terri D Talia. A fans perspective of The Raiders. I would call Terri a SUPER fan of Paul Revere & The Raiders because she seen them in ways NOBODY seen them. Here is the conversation we had. ----->    "You asked me what year I became a Raider fan. I had not really been into rock music at the age of 12 but my sister, 10 years older than myself was a fan club president of Doris Day and living out here in the Hollywood So California area, often took things to her home from fans etc. She had met the family and knew Terry Melcher had a roommate by the name of Mark Lindsay. She asked me one day if I could watch Where The Action Is to check this singer out. ( remember this is the days of no tv's in break rooms and she worked at the time Action aired) . So I did and saw Mark in a caveman suit along with the other guys and was quite smitten. This was 1966. You asked when I met with the group. I received an invitation in the mail from Dick Clark Productions for 4 tickets to a new teen show Happening '68, with of course Mark, Paul and the Raiders. I invited 2 girlfriends and we were at the 1st taping of the show Nov 30, 1967. It was a small studio at ABC studios and quite informal, after and in between taping the audience could mingle with the guys, guest stars etc. Such a experience for a young teen smitten with her teen idol. I continued to go as often as my mom would allow to these taping's and over the course of a year and a half missed just a few. It was here , although strict on camera policy that I became obsessed with taking pictures of all the guys. With a small instamatic camera these were not the best photos, and many did not stand the test of time. But here I met my lifelong best friend , sister from another mother.. Lesley Clack. She was just as big a photo nut and we combined our collection over the years. It probably totals over 10,000 pics of every Raider from the years 66 through now.You asked which Raider was/ is my favorite. No surprise I am sure it is Mark. But all the guys over the years have been very nice and gentlemen always . Never a bad experience. We met family members , wives, kids, mothers, fathers, even Omar's grandmother. We saw them at airports, their homes, restaurants, car repair shops , driving on the freeway. All in and around So. Cal. Great memories. I believe I have over 10,000 photographs of the Raiders. The earliest were from pen pals back in 1966. Some were bought for a quarter back in pen pal sales. As I took my own in the years 67 on, I also sold and advertised them through fan clubs and word of mouth.I had all of their albums and 45's as a teen, but lost my collection in my 20's due to moving. I was so regretful as so many were signed and had special memories. I have tried to re attain them but am still way off having all.I of course had posters and magazine pictures of them all, especially Mark, on my bedroom wall. Much to the destain of my mom. Lol...My second favorite? Well I always felt Keith was so easy to talk with. He made you feel very comfortable and always had a smile for you. But then Paul also was a real gentleman to me ..always. And Freddy was a dear. Very polite and sweet. I could go on and on. I would just like to say to all who read this, my teen years were indeed a blast because of these fellows. And I feel they all were talented young men , some got to pursue this crazy profession their entire life's, others gave up to another way of life more stable. But I am sure they remember those years as I do, with pure amazement and gratification we lived in those early rock n roll days! Please enjoy all my photos, and Lesley's on Raider Photos Inc. here on Facebook".
